Remembrance Day


With Remembrance Day in our hearts, the Kinders have been thinking and speaking a lot about Peace.  What is looks like and feels like.  We read some special books and sang some special songs about Peace.

We had a special guest visit us on Remembrance Day.  Major Wayne Willnott joined us, shared some pictures and spoke to us about his time in Afganistan.



                                      



We all gathered in front of the SMARTboard to watch a live feed of the ceremony taking place at the War Memorial downtown on the CBC.  At 11:00 we all sat together in silence to remember our soldiers.

    This is fantastic. I'm so happy you did this! I didn't even get to watch due to work. I hope to attend in person next year and bring the kids for a bit.
